Lately voting was conducted to select the New Seven Wonders of the World this was just an initiative taken to update the list of Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. People from all over the world participated in this. It was claimed by The New7Wonders Foundation that more than 100 million votes were cast. With the number of votes received the New Seven Wonders were decided.

The New Seven Wonders are Chichen Itza in Mexico, The statue of Christ the Redeemer in Rio de Janeiro (Brazil), The Colosseum in (Rome), The Great Wall of China (China), Machu Picchu in (Peru), Petra in (Jordan)and Taj mahal in (Agra). All the monuments are exclusive pieces of architecture and were built after lots of efforts were being made by the people at that time. These monuments attract tourists in large numbers. Every structure holds its own significance and there is a tale associated with each one of them.

All the monuments are worth admiring and large number of people from all over the world visit these places. Seeing the New Seven Wonders is so special and unusual that they would certainly become the part of your memories.
